Jerry Stone
Jerry Stone is a native of Eastern North Carolina and graduated in 1966 from WASB Broadcasting School in Atlanta. He began recording country music in 1969, and in 1971 his song entitled “CC Rider” made the Billboard charts. Jerry has worked with various recording artists including The Wilburn Brothers, Loretta Lynn, Chuck Rogers, Willie Nelson, Tommy Collins, and Charlie Daniels. In 1980, Jerry went back to his roots in gospel music where he has performed with groups including The Singing Samaritans, The Prophets Quartet, The Ruppes, The Stamps, The Imperials, and The Oak Ridge Boys. Jerry began “The Olive Branch Praise and Worship Hour” at WYVE in 1998. In his spare time, Jerry spreads his love for music through his singing, recording and various performances.
